The soft, ninety-nine percent silver patina employed on this reclining female figure accentuates the sensuality if its form. This piece is part of a series of five bronze sculptures based on larger ceramic works. Lyons’ choice of medium is a natural progression from her ceramic pieces, as it continues to address her connection to the alchemy of natural materials.
