The artist uses a graphite finish on the dark surfaces, to emphasize the metallic look of the steel. The brilliant colors are achieved by mixing pure pigment with a clear matte agent. The sculpture can be installed on a table or base if one prefers not to use the artist-made pedestal. Dimensions of the sculpture without the pedestal are 30.25 x 8 x 7".
