With societies' shifting views of transsexual identity, this work, Shift, give us a visual image to open a dialogue. What does it mean to be transgender? Imagine being born into a body you do not identify with. What heart-rendered decisions have to take place to make an outward change? What shifts need to take place to allow our own movement forward into our authentic self?"
