History of Rain is comprised of a cast bronze raindrop on a found tin box (circa 1850). The smooth bronze sports rich shades of iridescent blue and browns accentuated by areas of polished bronze. Johnson is based in California where recent droughts have given water a special significance and where objects dating from the Gold Rush can still be found.
