Rebecca Johnson speaks about her "Barnwood" sculpture: "This wood was on a shed on the Mendocino Headlands, CA -once called Portuguese flats. It was the poor fishermen's home, now prime real estate. The shed was a shack built about 1900. The board is old growth redwood so weather-worn it was worn to about 1/4 thick. This barn is made from a single board."
