Mirror polished stainless steel. This sculpture is part of Whitehead’s Freedom/Progress series featuring sculptures with an upward pointing obelisk piercing a sphere as a symbol of progress. Interesting and elegant from all sides, the sculpture exemplifies the artist's interest in right triangular prisms with half-cylindrical holes and objects balanced in 3D space. The number 1 in the edition of 3 was sold to Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors.
