Mirror polished stainless steel. The primary focal point of this sculpture is its slanting progression of intersecting geometric objects, located in the upper half. It is as if the three-dimensional disks were falling out of the large squares, giving the impression of both an upward and downward movement. This part of the sculpture is perched precariously atop a center-balanced base cube with a cylindrical hole, resulting in a two-part sculpture with a balance/imbalance dynamic. The optional marble base is included in the above dimensions and measures 1" x 13" x 13".
