British artist John Atkin opened his Southwest London studio to us recently, and we produced a fascinating short film in our video series spotlighting Sculpturesite Gallery artists: Inside the Sculptor's Studio. This is a rare opportunity to delve into Atkin’s conceptual approaches and view his creative process for a number of selected works, from drawings to scale maquettes to full-scale monumental sculptures.

John Atkin was very fortunate to meet Henry Moore as a young man, and Mr. Moore was so impressed with him that he personally funded his art studies at the Royal College of Art. Now an internationally recognized sculptor focusing on public art that is rooted in the history and culture of the community, Atkin continues to create models for works in various scales. In his on-line exhibition (scroll below to view), we are offering pedestal size, garden scale and monumental works suitable for homes, offices, estates and corporate and public collections.
