We are delighted to present 12 small and medium bronze sculptures by celebrated Northwest artist Gerard Tsutakawa ranging from 2004 to 2018 in an exclusive online exhibition. Tsutakawa’s humanistic approach and his influence from the cultures and traditions of the Pacific Rim are evidenced in the refined sculptures with titles like "Malamalama", which translates as clear perception or enlightenment in Hawaiian,"Shibui", an aesthetic term in Japanese, or "HA’AHA’A", humility in Hawaiian.

Tsutakawa chooses to hand build each work, therefore creating unique pieces, rather than casting editions.

We have represented Tsutakawa for over 20 years and this is the first time that we have been able to offer such a diverse inventory, as he is generally kept busy with large scale public or private commissions. Very exciting!
