Prentice is known for his major corporate and public installations, relying on air currents to give shape and motion to his intricate compositions. In 2012, Tim Prentice and his associate of 30 years, David Colbert, formed Prentice Colbert, Inc. As partners, they head a small crew of craftsmen that have worked together for between 20 and 30 years.
