WILLLIAM WAREHAM

April 15 - June 17, 2006
The pleasure in Wareham's work is in following the whimsical joining of elements and the improvised achievement of uprightness. Wareham's work is self-consciously restricted in ambition, in order to better metamorphose the integration of de-stabilizing fantasy and routine order in everyday life -John Rapko, Artweek

This solo exhibit of William Wareham’s work includes recent painted steel sculpture. Ranging in size from maquette to monumental, the study of scale, vibrant color and dynamic energy are the artist’s focus. Fundamental to Wareham’s work are his appreciation for technique, as well as a deep concern for the articulation of metal, his chosen medium.
