Yellow Curl

WALL SCULPTURE mixed media  

Reminiscent of skin and exoskeleton, Welz’s Yellow Curl sweeps downward. Intermittently divided by angles, jutting planes and straight lines are softened by texture and hue shifts. Plexiglas construction allows for light to permeate the surface of the work and strokes from hand coloration heighten the texture of emission.
