Rebecca Johnson's "Etruscan Black" barn sculpture is carved from a hexagonal column of solid basalt. The back and two sides showcase the natural outer skin of the stone, also visible on the roof. On the two cut and polished sides, Johnson carved an entry door and four windows to entice the viewer into the stone's interior. The basalt barn is placed on a basalt column, itself on a roughly cut limestone pedestal. The sculpture parts are pinned throughout and can be placed on a level patio or deck or directly on the ground in your garden.
