Rebecca Johnson's "Tuscan Landscape" barn sculpture is carved from a hexagonal column of solid basalt, stacked on a square basalt stone and naturally weathered basalt column. The two sides of the building are left to showcase the beautifully rich natural outer skin of the stone, also visible on the roof. On the contrasting cut and polished sides, Johnson carved entry doors and windows to entice the viewer into the stone's interior. The sculpture parts are pinned throughout so the work can be placed on a level patio or deck or directly on the ground in your garden.
