Sculpturesite Gallery's co-founder and gallerist, Brigitte Micmacker, has been selected to jury the 2017 California Sculpture SLAM at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art!

Taking place from September 1 - October 29, California Sculpture SLAM showcases current works by both established and up-and-coming California sculptors. Micmacker has selected an extraordinary collection of 49 artworks out of 195 entries. The show includes a variety of works in metal, wood, stone, glass, and fabric.

An opening reception will take place on Friday, September 1. in conjunction with Art After Dark. Museum members can preview the show from 5-6 PM, and it opens to the public from 6–9 PM. The awards selected by Micmacker will be announced at 7 PM. Entry is free.

On Saturday, September 2 at 12 PM, Micmacker will give an ARTalk and SLAM exhibition tour at the museum. The talk and tour are free and open to the public.
