Jorge Blanco was recently awarded by the Arts Council of Sarasota, Florida the "John Ringling Fund Individual Artist Fellowship: Designed to recognize practicing, professional,creative artists residing or working in Sarasota County, the John Ringling Fund Individual Artist Fellowships provides monetary awards to assist artists with demonstrated ability to continue producing exceptional work."
