Under gasps and applause from the hundreds of people gathered for the unveiling ceremony of Gerard Tsutakawa’s Uzumaki Curve in Clayton, MO, the sleek red fabric was slowly pulled off the sculpture by two red-clad young women who had been standing perfectly still for two hours. What an incredibly moving reception for a magnificent public art piece that was years in the making!
