"For lovers of glass sculpture, an exhibition at San Francisco's Sculpturesite Gallery is providing a unique view of the work of Bay Area glass artists.

"Bay Area Glass Sculpture" is an invitational survey featuring works by 23 artists, ranging from nationally renowned artists David Ruth and Randy Strong to emerging artists like Julie Alland, Kathleen Elliot and Marta Thomas.

George and Dorothy Saxe, who have assembled one of the country's foremost collections of contemporary glass sculpture, which they bequeathed to the M.H. de Young Memorial Museum, selected a few works by each artist for the show."
